Streamate is a pay as you go cam site where you leave your payment information on file behind a secure server. Since Streamate charges your card automatically, you never need to pre-buy currency. As such, you never need to have a prepaid balance unless you choose to have one. Your prepaid balance is basically your Gold, even if it isn't labelled that way in your profile.
Due to currency exchange rates between you and the model, it can be very hard to determine the exact values on Streamate, but you should be able to find a cam girl to do a show with for between $3.00 and $4.00 quite easily.
Streamate's Gold Value for Models
Streamate models make different rates depending on whether they are solo models or if they work for a studio. Models who work for a studio make 30% whereas independents make 35%.
Studio models make 0.30 cents for every dollar earned.
Independent models make 0.35 cents for every dollar earned.
You can make money from tips, but most of the money exchanged on the site comes directly from the cost of private shows and other paid show types.
